Tender Notice For Open Sale Of Wheat

     For and on behalf of Food Corporation of India, General manager (R), FCI, Assam Region, Guwahati invites tenders in 2 (two) bid tendering system (technical Bid and financial Bid) from Bulk consumers like Roller Flour Mills , Biscuit Manufactures e.t.c of Assam for sale of 12500 MT (aprox) wheat under OMSS(D) from various FCI depots of Assam Region.

     The minimum quantity of wheat for which a bid can be submitted would be 100 tonnes. The maximum quantity which a tenderer can bid for in a single tender would be 1000 tonnes.

     Intending tenderers are to submit their bids depotwise.

     Following quantities in various FCI districts are to be sold under the above scheme.

     The tender form (non transferable) embodying the terms and conditions can be obtained from FCI, Regional Office, Assam Region, G.S Road, Ulubari, Guwahati -7 on application in letter head alongwith the cost i.e Rs. 500.00 (Rupees five hundred) during working days up to 22.11.09 between 11.00 A.M to 2.00 P.M on all working days and on 23.11.09 up to 12.00 noon. The tender forms can also be downloaded from FCI website www.fcinez.com. and www.tenders.gov.in. in which case the cost of tender form should be submitted by the tenderer i.e Rs. 500.00 (Rupees five hundred) in the form of DD in favour of General Manager, FCI, Guwahati at the time of deposition of tender along with earnest money in cover “A”.

Date of Sale of Tender Forms :
From 16.11.09 to 22.11.09 between 11.00A.M to 2.00 P.M on all working days and on 23.11.09 up to 12.00 Noon

Date of Submission of Tenders with EMD:
Up to 2.00 P.M on 23.11.2009

Date of Opening of the Tenders:
23.11.09 at 3.00 P.M

     Tenderers are requested to furnish an undertaking on a stamp paper of Rs 20/- that wheat purchased under OMSS(D) would be used in its own processing unit and would not be used for trading.

     Tenderers are advised to ensure submission of all certificates / documents as per instructions laid down in the MTF and the terms and conditions failing which the tender may be treated as incomplete and may not be considered.


     The technical bid and financial bid are to be simultaneously submitted in two separate sealed envelops clearly superscribed Technical bid in cover “A” and Financial Bid in cover “B” . Both these envelopes i.e cover “A” and “B” shall be put in a separate envelope in the name of General Manager (R) FCI, Assam Region , Guwahati -7. The FCI will not be responsible for any loss or delay of the tender form if sent by post or otherwise.


     The FCI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the offers and or withdraw any quantity from the sale without assigning any reasons what – so – ever.
