Sealed percentage rate tender are invited on behalf of the FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA for the following works from the approved Building Contractors registered in the appropriate Class with the Central P.W.D/State P.W.D/M.E.S/Railway/P&T and other public sector under takings of the Central Government/State Government who have satisfactorily completed during the last five years at least 3 works of Rs.1 Lac each in any of the organization listed in this NIT for registration for Sl No. 1& 2 .The intending tenderers are also required to submit current Bank Solvency Certificate not older than one year from any Nationalized Bank /Scheduled Bank for monetary limit of Rs.3 Lacs for Sl No.1 & 2 and Rs.1 lacs for Sl No. 3 to 5..

     Tender document (non-transferable) may be obtained from the office of the Asstt. General Manager(CE), Food Corporation of India, Regional Office, Guwahati-07. Application with requisite documents will be received upto 4.00 P.M on 21/01/2010 along with full particulars of the works executed by them duly supported by sufficient documentary evidence, Bank Solvency certificate, valid sale Tax clearance certificate and Pan Card with originals. The tender form will be issued upto 23/01/2010 on payment of Rs.500/-(Five hundred only) for Sl No.1 to 3 and Rs.150/- for Sl No.4 & 5 plus tax , if any.

     Earnest Money in the form of Demand Draft or Banker Cheque (Deposit at Call Receipt/Fixed Deposit Receipt not acceptable) in Nationalized/Scheduled Bank payable at Guwahati in favour of FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA, must accompany each tender. Tender not accompanied by earnest money in the prescribed form shall be summarily rejected.

     Completed tenders will be received by the Asstt. General Manager(CE),FCI, Regional Office, G.S Road ,Guwahati-07, up to 2.00 P.M on 25/01/2010 and opened on the same day at 2.30 P.M in presence of tenderers or their authorized representatives.
