PRESS NOTICE
NOTICE INVITING TENDER NO.1 OF 2008-09
Separate item rate tenders are invited for the
following work from the firms actually engaged in the field of fabrication
of structural steel/tubular trusses and who are able to produce a
certificate for fabrication capacity of not less than two hundred tonnes per
month from authorities like Director of Industries / DDGTD / NSIC / DGS&D.
The intending tenders are also required to submit bank solvency certificate
from any Nationalized / Schedule Bank for a monetary value of Rs.25.00 lakhs.

Tender documents
(not transferable) may be obtained from the Asstt.Genl. Manager (Engg), Food
Corporation of India, Regional Office, NEF Region, Shillong-3 on application
with requisite documents which will be received upto 1.00pm on 24.05.2008
alongwith production of full particulars of works executed by them in the
Department of their contract Registration duly supported by sufficient
documentary evidence latest Bank Solvency Certificate, valid Income Tax and
Sale Tax/VAT clearance certificate and Registrtion certificate etc. all in
Original should be produced for verification and will be returned at the
time of sale of Tender documents. Tender forms will be issued on 26.05.08 on
payment of Rs.500/-(Rupees Five hundred only) in cash. Earnest Money Deposit
in the form of demand draft of a schedule bank in favour of Food Corporation
of India payable at Shillong should accompany each tender. Tenders not
accompanied by earnest money in the prescribed form shall be summarily
rejected.
Completed tenders shall be received by
Asstt.Genl.Manager(Engg), Food Corporation of India, Regional Office,
Shillong on 28.05.08 and will be opened in his office on the same day at
3:00 P.M. in the presence of tenderers or their authorized. representative.
